Vangear Kombi Conversion

This Vangear T6.1 Kombi camper conversion is designed as a versatile crossover vehicle which is ideal as a family van or for those with lots of people and luggage to carry. There are 5 roomy seats with two individual comfortable seats in the front and a 2 + 1 removable/folding 2nd row in the rear. This set up allows for easy movement from the front to the back seats and the extra benefit of a swivel passenger seat with a table, allowing a sociable area to be formed. This seat conversion uses Volkswagen OEM seats, belts and seat brackets.

This is surely the most practical set up with space for every day life. The 2nd row seats are removable, as is the kitchen pod and bed so you also have a van for work or just moving stuff! Then with the Vangear bed and kitchen-pod you have a campervan for trips and holidays.

On this conversion we installed the 2+1 Kombi seats, our Vangear Kombi Table and the RIB single passenger swivel

We also fitted our Vangear removable Kombi-Bed which has two useful storage compartments on the side and a fold out bed. This retains the full practicality of the boot space for sporting equipment or for work purposes.

Fitting onto the side is a Vangear Tailgate-Pod, which is a sliding kitchen with a stove, sink and table.

VW "3rd Row seat" conversion

The Vangear Modular-Bed provides a solution for campervans that have factory 3rd row seats fitted or retrofitted, there is a rear platform from which 3 leaf sections lift out onto a pair of "L" legs at the front to support the 3 leaf sections. The "L" legs stand over the existing seats and are stored with the rear sections. Designed for the SWB  VW T5 T6 T6.1 Transporter, the base fits onto the original loading eye's and works with the rear 3 seater (3rd row).
