The generation 2 X-Pod is our NEW budget kitchen pod added here to a Rear-Pod storage unit to form the X-System for down the side of the van modular furniture. There is now a option for a tambour door with storage or space for a fridge (39l) and a side door that turns into a table. The Vangear Rear Pod is added to form a modular system. It is designed for the VW T5 T6 T6.1 panel van, this version is deeper at 370mm and this pod will work with a 3/4 rock & roll bed (1120mm) There are mounting eyes for the loading lugs in the Transporter.

Short Wheelbase (based on VW T5/T6/T6.1 SWB)

Length = The Rear Pod is 1385mm ( including mid shelf unit at 235mm) at the base + the kitchen pod (800mm) = 2185mm

Depth =   The kitchen pod depth is 390mm

Straight edged Rear Pod - suitable to sit alongside the X-Pod

This unit can be ordered without the joining piece on the left if you don't want to place a kitchen pod next to it 

It is designed for the VW T5 T6 T6.1 and this pod will work with a 3/4 rock & roll bed. Upcoming options include mounting eyes for the loading lugs in the Transporter and an option for a larger rear water tank. It is also now available in Driftwood which compliments a front pod in either Black or Grey.

Fitting Options

A fitting kit is included for fitting this to a VW T5, T6 or T6.1. This includes bolts for the loading points to fix the rear unit (+ a kit for fixing the side of the unit to the side of the van) and standard bolts for the kitchen unit. The kitchen unit could also be secured to the seat brackets with our j-bolts or we have unwin rail sections for if you need the kitchen pod to be removable on a plywood floor. 

We also have a wide range of rail fixing cleats if you have a sliding rail system - please note that if you have the original factory panels (e.g. Shuttle/Caravelle) then you will need the slimline version of our rear pod.
