Here's a straightforward breakdown of the Vangear pod range to help you decide.

Nano-Pod

The Nano-Pod is the most compact option in the range — ideal if you're working with a short-wheelbase van or want to keep maximum floor space free. It's a great entry point for weekend warriors who need the basics: a cooking surface and storage, without committing to a full kitchen build.

Best for: Short-wheelbase vans, minimalist builds.

Mini-Pod

A step up in capacity, the Mini-Pod adds more worktop space and storage without dramatically increasing the footprint. It's the most popular choice for vans like the Ford Transit Custom and VW Transporter, where space is at a premium but you still want a proper cooking setup.

  • What's your van's wheelbase? small vans have less floor space — the Nano or Mini-Pod will suit better.
  • How often do you cook? Weekend trips with simple meals → Nano or Mini. Regular cooking or longer trips → 50L fridge -pod
